All ages, all levels of complexity
From early childhood to elderly adults, including the cases other providers decline. Your family member’s age or complexity is never a reason we’d turn you away.
Families
We know this can feel overwhelming. Finding the right support for your family member – someone who genuinely understands them – takes time and trust. We're here to make that process as clear and straightforward as possible, and to walk it with you.

Most families come to us at the same point: worried, worn down, and unsure where to turn. You’ve likely tried things that didn’t work, and you may have been told a case was too complex or not the right fit somewhere else.
Here’s where we begin. Positive Behaviour Support starts with a Functional Behaviour Assessment – understanding why a behaviour is happening before anyone tries to change it.
Behaviour is almost always communication: an unmet need, a way of coping, a response to something in the environment.
Once we understand the cause, we can build a plan that actually addresses it, rather than just managing the surface.
Recognised year after year for the quality of our positive behaviour support, and for the difference it makes to the people we work with

A clear, supportive process, so you always know what is happening next.
You reach out, and we listen
You tell us what’s happening in plain terms – no clinical language required. We’ll talk through whether we’re the right fit and, if we are, what the first steps look like. If we’re not, we’ll tell you honestly and point you in a better direction.
We match your family member with the right clinician
This is the part that matters most to families, and the part we take most seriously. We match your family member with a practitioner suited to their age, needs, and personality, not just whoever’s available. And because our clinicians stay for years, that’s a relationship that lasts, not a revolving door.
We assess before we act
We get to know your family member properly and complete a Functional Behaviour Assessment to understand what’s driving the behaviour. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is assumed.
We build the plan with you
The people who spend the most time with your family member – you – are part of the plan, not bystanders to it. We write strategies you can actually use at home, and we make sure you understand them before we step back.
We support you to put it into practice
A plan only works if it’s used. We help you embed the strategies, troubleshoot what comes up, and adjust as your family member grows and changes.
This is long-term work. Positive Behaviour Support isn’t a quick fix, and meaningful change usually takes months. But it’s change built to last.
Families looking for Positive Behaviour Support want more than generic advice. They want specialists who understand the full picture, communicate clearly, and will still be there years from now.
From early childhood to elderly adults, including the cases other providers decline. Your family member’s age or complexity is never a reason we’d turn you away.
Our staff turnover is low, so the clinician who begins with your family member stays with them. No re-explaining your story to someone new every few months.
We explain things in plain language, keep you informed at every stage, and make sure you understand the plan before it’s implemented.
We’re not a generalist provider with PBS on the side. Positive Behaviour Support is our entire focus, so your family member gets specialists who do this every day.
We’re one of Perth’s most award-winning PBS providers, but what matters more is what that quality means for the person you love.
Tell us about your family member and we’ll help you find the right next step — honestly, with no pressure.
Families trust us with the people who matter most to them. We don't take that lightly.
We had the best services from Faith and Rex from Target Behaviour Support. They were reachable when we needed them and they gave us clear working behaviour strategies on how our team could be efficient. Their reports were timeous and above all they have been consistent. I recommend their services anytime.
We have had the pleasure of working with Faith... and her professionalism, clinical insight, and consistency have been outstanding. She communicates clearly, works collaboratively with support teams, and always keeps the participant’s needs at the centre of her practice.
I have had consistently excellent experiences with Target. They always go above and beyond for their participants and bring a genuine, person centred approach to every single situation. They collaborate so professionally. Communication is clear, timely, and focused on achieving the best outcomes - every time.
From the very start, the support has been outstanding, and our whole family is genuinely happy with how things are going. We really appreciate the dedication and the clear communication, and the difference it's made in such a short time has been remarkable. It's reassuring to finally feel this well looked after.
We've achieved more in just a few months than we managed with our previous providers in years. The commitment and care really stand out, and it's been wonderful to watch the progress and the trust that's been built with our family. They genuinely go above and beyond, and we're so grateful for it.
They're always quick to respond when we reach out, and so understanding and supportive with it. They keep the person at the centre of everything and stay flexible whenever our needs change. Having someone this easy to work with has made a real difference.
There's no such thing as a question that's too small. Here are the ones families ask us most before taking the first step.
Yes. Our services are provided to NDIS-funded participants only. Your family member must have an active NDIS plan that includes funding for positive behaviour support under the Capacity Building – Improved Relationships category. If you are unsure whether their plan includes this funding, contact our team and we will help you work through the options.
The first step is a conversation. Get in touch and share a brief account of your family member’s situation. You don’t need clinical language, and we’ll help you understand whether behaviour support is the right fit and what to expect from here. There’s no commitment in asking.
es. We support people of all ages, from early childhood through to elderly adults. Our team has experience across a wide range of ages, diagnoses, and settings, and we match each participant with the clinician suited to their specific needs.
We accept the cases other providers decline. We work in challenging settings, with complex and high-risk presentations, and across the full complexity spectrum. If your family member’s behaviour feels too complex, that’s exactly the situation we’re built for. Find out more here, or get in touch.
Positive Behaviour Support is a long-term process, not a quick fix. Lasting change takes time, and the pace depends on many factors, but you should begin to feel supported from the start. We set realistic expectations early and keep you informed of progress throughout.
We work hard to match each participant with the clinician best suited to their needs, considering age, background, communication style, and personality. If you have a preference for who supports your family member, tell us and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.
