What makes our team different

Our practitioners don't just bring qualifications. They bring commitment to their clients, to each other, and to the clinical standards that produce real outcomes.

  • Clinicians who stay

Staff turnover in the positive behaviour support sector is high. Ours is near zero. The practitioner who starts with your family member is still there years later.

  • Diverse backgrounds and lived experience

Our team includes practitioners from diverse ethnic backgrounds, ages, and life experiences. That diversity allows us to match participants with someone who genuinely understands their world.

  • Specialist positive behaviour support expertise

Every practitioner on our team specialises in positive behaviour support and not allied health generalists who offer it as one of many services.

  • Above-market investment in our people

We pay above-market rates to attract and retain the best clinicians. The result is a stable, experienced team that participants and families can count on.

  • Complex settings capability

Our practitioners work in homes, schools, supported accommodation, forensic mental health units, and correctional facilities – environments that demand a high level of clinical skill.

Trusted by families and professionals

Our clinicians are trusted with some of the most complex and sensitive situations in the disability sector. Here is what people say about working with them.

We had the best services from Faith and Rex from Target Behaviour Support. They were reachable when we needed them and they gave us clear working behaviour strategies on how our team could be efficient. Their reports were timeous and above all they have been consistent. I recommend their services anytime.

Nqobizitha N

We have had the pleasure of working with Faith... and her professionalism, clinical insight, and consistency have been outstanding. She communicates clearly, works collaboratively with support teams, and always keeps the participant’s needs at the centre of her practice.

Akshay D

I have had consistently excellent experiences with Target. They always go above and beyond for their participants and bring a genuine, person centred approach to every single situation. They collaborate so professionally. Communication is clear, timely, and focused on achieving the best outcomes - every time.

Leanne H

From the very start, the support has been outstanding, and our whole family is genuinely happy with how things are going. We really appreciate the dedication and the clear communication, and the difference it's made in such a short time has been remarkable. It's reassuring to finally feel this well looked after.

Rebecca T

We've achieved more in just a few months than we managed with our previous providers in years. The commitment and care really stand out, and it's been wonderful to watch the progress and the trust that's been built with our family. They genuinely go above and beyond, and we're so grateful for it.

Anonymous

They're always quick to respond when we reach out, and so understanding and supportive with it. They keep the person at the centre of everything and stay flexible whenever our needs change. Having someone this easy to work with has made a real difference.

Frequently asked questions

Choosing the right practitioner is one of the most important decisions in the support journey. Here are the questions we hear most often.

How do you match participants with the right practitioner?

We consider a range of factors, including the participant’s age, diagnosis, communication style, cultural background, the nature of their behaviours, and the settings they are in. If you have specific preferences or requirements, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Can we request a specific clinician?

You can express a preference, and we will do our best to accommodate it. Our priority is always to match the participant with the practitioner best suited to their clinical needs.

Do your practitioners work in person or via telehealth?

Both. Our practitioners work in person across the Perth metropolitan area and some regional areas, and via telehealth for participants in rural and remote Western Australia. The approach that works best for each participant is confirmed at the start of the service.

Are your practitioners registered with the NDIS?

Yes. All of our behaviour support practitioners are registered to provide positive behaviour support under the NDIS. Our organisation holds full NDIS registration and has zero non-conformities across every audit we have undergone.

What qualifications do your practitioners hold?

Our practitioners hold qualifications in relevant disciplines including psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and other allied health fields. All meet the NDIS Behaviour Support Capability Framework requirements. Qualifications are referenced at a team level rather than listed individually, in line with our clinician privacy policy.

What happens if a practitioner leaves?

Our staff turnover is near zero with only two practitioners have left the organisation since we were founded. In the unlikely event of a practitioner transition, we manage the handover carefully to minimise disruption and ensure continuity of care.

We don't just manage behaviour. We change lives.

Behind every outcome is a clinician who stayed – who knew the participant, understood their story, and kept showing up.
